Strengthening Institutional delivery system for integrated water, sanitation and hygiene promotion in the Jarmundi and Devipur block of Dumka and Deoghar District respectively: Supported by Wateraid-UK.

Project focus:


The project is focused on the inclusion of socially excluded groups such as Women, children, tribal, disables and so on for their development through ensuring their water, sanitation and hygiene.

 

Main Activities:


• Promotion of community based organization for the promotion, management and maintenance of water sources, sanitation and hygiene in the villages
• Promotion of school sanitary blocks
• Promotion of village contact drives
• Promotion of “Sachhata Darbar”
• Promotion of Individual House Hold Latrines
• State and District level advocacy for the policy change to include the issue of social exclusion in the planning
