‘Experimentation of SRI’ method in Wheat & Mustard in Devipur block of Deoghar district of Jharkhand.

Project focus:

The project is focused in the experiment of implication of SRI Technology in the Wheat and Mustard cultivation to bring food security among the poor and marzinal farmers in a dry state like Jharkhand.

Main Activities:

• Awareness generation programme among the small and marginal farmers to adopt SRI Technique in their wheat and Mustard cultivation
• Skill development and handholding support to the progressive farmer to adopt SRI Technique in wheat and mustard cultivation
• Media advocacy to highlight the issue to the government and other
• Conducting Research in collaboration with KVK/Birsa agricultural University/ upland rice research institutes
• Advocacy with district and state government for recognition of the implication of SRI in the wheat and Mustard cultivation.
