          • Promotion and nurturing SHGs under the government SGSY programme for the economic empowerment of BPL poor women in Devipur, Mohanpur & Palozori blocks of Deoghar district


Project focus:


The project is focused on the socio-political empowerment of the women, belongs to the poorest section of the society, i.e. from BPL, through organizing them in small Self-Help Groups and linkage building of those groups with the government SGSY programme for their economic assistance to start small entrepreneurships.  



 

Main Activities:


• Formation and Strengthening women BPL Self-Help Groups
• Capacity building of the groups on various small scale entrepreneurships
• Credit linkage building of the groups through SGSY
• Entrepreneurship development of the group
• Market linkage of the groups
• Awareness of the group members on women and child rights other than different socio-political issues
• Promotion of women participation in the development process such as in gram sabha meetings.
